Instructions, Part 2

  1. Separate each invitation/menu using a paper cutter, or have them professionally cut. Each panel should be approximately 3 6/16″ wide.
  2. Cut the card stock into 3 panels. Each will be approximately 3 3/4″ wide. Punch two holes at the top of the invitation or menu program, as well as the card stock approximately 1/4″ from the top and 1″ apart. Alternatively, you can have the holes drilled through all of them at once while stacked.
  3. Cut the ribbon into 6″ lengths. Attach the invitation or menu program to the card stock with the ribbon.
  4. Center the invitation on the card stock and using the glue stick, glue the invitation to the card stock.

Tips

  • Using translucent vellum paper is especially appealling as a cover sheet to your announcement, program or invitation. The creative possibilities with vellum are so great because it allows colors and patterns to visually interact just as layered glazes in an oil painting would. There is a wonderful personality to it.
